O Gráfico Amador

This was my thesis degree project that aimed to study and disseminate the culture of independent publishing and the graphic experimentation of different printing methods as a form of expression and preservation in the field of art and design. It used as a research base the story of Aloísio Magalhães, a great Brazilian graphic designer, during the period of O Gráfico Amador, his own publishing studio in the 1950’s. Besides the monograph, I also designed an 100% letterpress object-book, using important quotations from Aloísio.
