POSE TALKING SHOP
This 2016 mural on MICA’s printmaking building was the fruit of a guest residency with POSE. The street artist took inspiration from hand-lettering on iconic Globe posters to paint “Measure Twice Cut Once”, a printmaking riff on the familiar axiom, on top of student prints wheat-pasted on the building. Like the Globe posters it drew from, the mural was a statement on the ephemeral nature of street art: The Dolphin Building was torn down in July of that year to make way for a new campus building
