Raísa Almeida is an Art Director and a Visual Designer based in São Paulo, Brazil.︎

During the past year, Raísa worked as a Senior Creative Designer for Nubank. From 2017 to 2021, she worked as an Art Director @ FLAGCX (CUBOCC NY and SOKO). Between 2016 and 2017, she worked as a Senior Art Assistant @ Martin Luz. From Winter to Spring 2016, Raísa worked as a Letterpress Intern @ Globe Collection & Press at MICA. Now she's happily part of SOKO (again! <3) ☻

Raísa also freelances with brands like Strava, where she crafts compelling visual assets for campaigns and events. She also partners with creative companies such as Mesa, contributing her talents to develop complex prototypes, visual identities, and ad campaigns, all within tight timeframes that test the limits of her creativity.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Raísa co-founded Efêmmera, a pioneering network that celebrates female protagonism in street culture and entrepreneurship. At Efêmmera, she fosters connections between established and emerging artists, empowering them through various creative avenues, including brand commissions, street art, murals, talks, exhibitions, and art curatorship.

Recognizing her talent, she was awarded a full-time scholarship to study Graphic Design The Maryland Institute College of Art by the Federal Government of Brazil.

Raísa brings a dynamic eye to her projects, seeking innovative and respectful solutions. Her curiosity and thought-provoking nature drive her to exceed expectations, merging function with art in all her work.

If she's not doing graffiti or riding her bike on the road or maybe around the city with friends, you can definitely find her in São Paulo, Brazil.
